I got told I have chlamydia. Got tested 5months ago. (clear) now I have it. My partner hasn't cheated and nether have I. so how do I get it?

Is it possible to get chlamydia from sharing wash clothes and towels? My boyfriend did not cheat and I did not cheat. No way possible!
Chlamydia: The problem with chlamydia is that it can live deep in the urethra, throat, and cervix for years if untreated. It is easy to pass. One does not even need full on penetration to get chlamydia. I always advise couples in your scenario to just get treatment and not lose the relationship. But, once treated. Errors: Understand that you can be symptom free and still have chlamydia. The routine test looks for genetic material from the chlamydia, but the test is more likely to miss it than to be falsely positive, unless they mixed up your test with someone else.
