Chlamydia: It is so unlikely that i would say no. Chlamydia is a sticky bug that can line the infected persons throat, urethra or cervix or rectal tissues. The infected fluids are more likely to be semen or vaginal fluids than saliva. But, in the extreme case, oral or salvia transmission has occurred. But that is not the norm and i would advise not to worry about sharing cups. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Can you get chlamydia from someone's saliva entering your vagina even if that person was treated a few days before?
I would think this : Could be a problem. People who are being treated for chlamydia are instructed not to be sexually active for seven days. During this period, chlamydia could still be transmitted back & forth. ...Read more
This is my 7th day after taking azithromycin for chlamydia and I recieved head. Will I be at risk of gettin reinfected?
Yes and no: Although the Azithromycin will take care of the current chlamydia infection, you can get re-infected if you continue to have unprotected intercourse with a partner who is still infected. Your partner(s) should be evaluated and treated if necessary. Besides abstinence, condom use is the only form of contraception that prevents sexually transmitted diseases. Oral sex is lower risk sex, low is not no. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
This is my 7th day after taking azithromycin for chlamydia and I recieved head from someone who doesn't have chlamydia. Will I get reinfected?
Probably not: It is not possible to tell if they have chlamydia from looking at them; however, oral sex is a relatively low risk activity for contracting any std other than herpes (oral sex is high risk for contracting herpes if either person has the virus). Safer sex would involve using a condom or dental dam as a barrier for even oral sex. ...Read more
Me and my boyfriend got tested for herpes (i & ii) and it was negative. He recently got a pimple on his lip, it looks like his acne on face I recently had chlamydia but got it treated. His face is really sensitive. should i get retested?
Low risk, no worries: A single pimple probably is just that. Herpes usually causes a cluster of a few blister-like lesions that then become pimple-like or scab over. The blood tests are quite reliable, but miss up to 30% of HSV1 infections, the cause of oral herpes. If your bf continues to have similar pimples in more or less the same spot, he should get it checked out. But for now there's no need for you to be tested. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Well i have had oral sex with someone who had chlamydia and then i saw this thing on my tongue like a scrath circle shape with this white thing?
Safest to get Rx: Chlamydia is uncommonly transmitted by oral sex, and doesn't cause sores, bumps, or anything else on the tongue. Still, to be 100% safe, you should get preventive treatment against chlamydia, probably with a single dose of azithromycin. And everyone your age should have vaginal or urine testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea from time to time. Regardless of this exposure, this is your time! See MD. ...Read more
I am being treated with doxoycycline for chlamydia but today someone gave me head oral sex) will it make the infection worse?
I have spots the same color as my skin under my penis head, i was tested + for chlamydia last month but had it treated, and i still have these spots.
Here are some...: Based on what described, the concerned spots are not STD-related but some commonly expected discolored skin macules which carry no clinical significance and require no need for active care, as long as being stable in their size with no elevation or bleeding or hurt. Of course, without a direct look at them, it is hard to tell such in 100% accuracy. More? Seek timely evaluation & counseling. Best. ...Read more
I had unprotected sex & gave head to guy with Chlamydia, day before i went on antibiotics i had a deep makeout with another. did i give him chlamydia too? i'm worried :(
Well....: Luckily chlamydia trachomatis isn't transmitted well to the throat like gonorrhea often is thru unprotected oral sex. You probably didn't, but if this is someone you care about or even just like and respect, it would be wise to be honest. Also probably time to use condoms more regularly even for head as chlamydia can cause you permanent fertility issues and pain. ...Read more
