Hi o wanted to ask you I want to start intterval training but its real hard last time I did it my heart rate went to 200 BPM will I get heart problems?

Unlikely: It is unlikely to develop heart problems from exercising. A standard maximum heart rate can be roughly estimated by the formula 220- (age). In you case, your maximum heart rate would be 220-22=198. If you start to feel dizzy or lightened while you exercise, you should slow down. Also, if your heart rate doesn't slow down when you stop exercising, you should talk to your doctor. ...Read more

I am b12 Def. My friend said I will get every diease because of this like heart problems, thyroid, you name it. I am getting injections every 8 weeks.

Is friend a doc?: If you keep getting regular injections of B12, you will not have any disease due to deficiency of B12 per se. The underlying cause of B12 deficiency is more important in determining what other issues may arise. Since you are seeing a doctor for B12 injections you should discuss your concerns with her/him. I'm fit, and haven't had heart problems. Yesterday I had the most rigorous workout of my life. Today my heart hurts when I get up after sitting.?

Pain: You are probably having chest wall pain and not heart pain. After a vigorous workout your chest can be sore from breathing hard. Try pushing against the area to see if that makes it worse. If it does it is probably chest wall. It would be unusual for someone your age to have heart problems. If it continues see your physician. ...Read more

Why does a male person get recuring pneumonia. He has had it 4 times in the last 3 months. Does have copd, heart problems, diabetis 76 years old.?

Hmmm...: Recurring "pneumonia" usually means there is something else going on. If this is truly pneumonia, more testing is likely in order to evaluate if there is something blocking the airway or there is an unusual organism causing the infection. What is more likely is that there is another explanation. This may be related to uncontrolled COPD or heart failure. Recommend seeing a lung specialist. ...Read more

What sounds good?: Remember that elderly folks who are not very active do not need as many calories as they used to. Sometimes as we age we lose our appetite as well. There are good tasting drink supplements which you can purchase at any drug store. ...Read more

Kitchen then gym: Weight loss efforts begin in the kitchen and are maintained in the gym. Focus on increasing vegetables and fruits and lean protein and decrease oils/fats and grains and beans which are more calorie dense. Drink water, don't drink calories and be mindful of eating, chew slowly, savor the flavors. Need much more time to tailor a plan for you based on a diet journal if you could provide me with one ...Read more

Help do I have gas or heart problems, I feel better sometimes when I pass gas. But I hurt like its trapped gas and I get dizzy and have a full feeling?
