Very uncommon: A headache coupled with confusion, dizziness, memory loss, slurred speech, loss of balance, weakness on one side of the body, seizures or blurred or double vision could signal a stroke or brain tumor, so always demand prompt medical action in those circumstances. Isolated headache is rarely caused by brain tumors.
23yo female so scared I have a brain tumor just have a feeling of pressure at the top and side of my head. Doesn't get any worse no other symptoms?
Relax, see dr.: Brain tumors in your age group are not common. If the headache goes away with paracetamol and there are no neural symptoms like confusion, weakness, numbness, double vision, the headache is worse in the afternoon, and no nausea and vomiting, you can relax. Make an appointment with your doctor for a neurological exam and ask if you may need other tests done. Sometimes sertralene can cause headaches.

Worried about a brain tumor only symptom I have is very mild tight band feeling around head doesn't get worse 23yo female?
Would it help.....: If I told you that with that as the only symptom, your other listed conditions as well as the fact you're on birth control pills that brain tumor is so far down the list of entities that it'd take you 1 week on a jet elevator going DOWN at 1000 mph to get to that diagnosis as opposed to anything else. A good neurological exam will prove it to you if you've also doubted your doctor's opinion.
