Can You Gain Weight Binging Two Days
You can: Depends also on many factors. I have patients who can binge on over 50, 000 kcal daily while others feel they are binging when they consume 1, 000 kcal. Also, some may binge on chocolate while another may eat 3 heads of lettuce. The risky part of binge episodes is that most people want to do something to "make up for" their episodes and these compensatory behaviors can lead to more weight gain. ...Read more
I eat little for 2 days straight then binge on day 3 with ice cream - would I be losing/gaining weight?
You're asking about eating, but it sounds like you're trying to control your weight. If this is very important to you, it sounds like a problem to take up with a therapist.
The starving/binging behavior is a poor idea. The body isn't built for it. Do consider exploring the matter with a therapist. ...Read more
It depends: An occasional binge should not result in weight gain. If you binge frequently, there is no healthy way to rid yourself of the excess calories. Any attempts to "purge" (by vomiting, next-day starvation, using water pills, etc) are dangerous to your health. Just go back to healthy eating and exercise and don't feel guilty. If it keeps happening, get into a treatment program. ...Read more
I binged around 4000 calories last night and this morning the scale says I've gained 5lbs!!! Is this accurate? Have I gained weight?
Depends on the scale: If using an accurate scale, 5 pounds gained is 5 pounds gained. Of course, one could have recorded the weight (s) incorrectly, or could be wearing heavier clothes, or carrying too many things in her pockets. Eating more calories than one uses causes extra calories to be stored as fat... that's how a normal body functions. 4000 calories will be about 1 pound of stored fat, ready to be used today! ...Read more

I binged all day eating a total of 3200 calories today. Will I gain weight? I weigh 52kgs. I'm a 21 year old female
But, if one eats...: But, if one eats just 800-1000 the next day, it will balance out. Eating a huge meal, such as at a wedding banquet, doesn't cause problems as long as one balances out the calories by eating less the day before, and the day after. However, making a habit of binging will likely bring trouble later. ...Read more

I have been dealing with binge eating over the last 2 years. Gaining anywhere from 10 to 30 pounds within a couple months (losing weight In between)?
Your question?: Hi. I'm sorry. That's troubling for you, I'm sure, and risky to your health in the long run (gets harder to lose it as you get older). Consider talking with a psychiatrist or psychologist to try to identify issues that lead to binging, and thereby hopefully come up with a means to abrogate that behavior...it might be fixable. Also, you may be at risk for binge drinking, which can have problems too ...Read more
