Can You Feel Your Intestine Moving
I keep getting very inflamed intestines. . I can feel things moving through which feels like a panic feeling. I take neurofen a lot.next steps?
See your: Doctor for an examination first. Try to hold off on the nurofen (are you taking the one with codeine?) . You can have a panic feeling with GI pain when the sympathetic (fight or flight) part of the nervous system tried to compensate for increased parasympathetic (digestion etc) tone caused by intestinal inflammation. Finding the cause of the GI upset and correcting it will help eliminate the panic feeling ...Read more
The gastrointestinal tract starts at the mouth, travel down the tunnel (esophagus), which connects to the stomach, which then empties into the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum---the three parts of the small intestine (@25 feet). This empties into the colon or large intestine (about 5 feet), which then becomes the sigmoid colon, rectum and out the anus. So, every morsel eaten ...Read more

Gas distension (ugh): The gas moving through your colon causes bloating/distension of different segments in waves, so it can feel like a moving roller coaster in your stomach at times. A large enough stool can also cause the same sensation with more discomfort. Excess gas might be a sign of stomach irritation that needs to be addressed through diet, lifestyle changes, medications, and/or stress management. Good luck. ...Read more

Ct scan said my upper intestines is consipated I have a slow moving upper do not feel consipated every is moving easy and normal?
See below: Typically, when a ct reports says constipation it refers to the lower intestine or the colon. Even so a ct scan is only suggestive of such diagnosis. It typically shows that there is a large amount of stool in the colon. If the patient also has symptoms of the constipation, then the findings and sypmtoms match. If the patient is otherwise not clinically constipated, it is only a ct finding. ...Read more
Firm lump, long shape. Can move it pretty much around my abdomen. Am I moving an intestine or my aorta?. Not sore
If the lump: Is present consistently all the time, it is probably not in your intestines. If it moves around, it is not in aorta. A painless mass is worrisome, so have your doctor take a look at it. ...Read more

Whenever my bowel movements are moving thru my intestines, I can feel it and its excriciateingly painful like labor contractions painful. Why?
Feels food in guts: You are probably describing visceral hyperalgesia--the heightened sense of gut distension & motility that many patients with irritable bowel syndrome experience, particularly at times of "mass movement." however, the same feeling may occur in response to partial obstruction (whether mechanical or functional). An abdominal obstruction series may reassure you, or may lead to additional studies. ...Read more

BetterThanAPentagon: I've never imagined swallowing a triangle but I must tell you, it sounds very uncomfortable. First, consider what you eat. Could you be sensitive to some kinds of food? Like dairy, beans, or broccoli? If that's not the case and you haven't traveled outside the country lately, you should see a doctor for an evaluation. In the meantime try small doses of Imodium (loperamide). It's for diarrhea but can help with cramps ...Read more

Ibs ruled out, but having severe amounts of gas from small intestine that are not moving out causing pain, causes?
May be diet related: You did not mention whether you're passing stool or not, or if you're constipated with gas. It sounds like the latter. However, if you're producing that much gas, and are bloated, then you have to look at food allergies to possibly gluten, gliadase, corn, soy, dairy, or something else you're eating that might be causing this. Call your doctor for an easy remedy. There are otc products that help wiith gas, and also for passing stool. You may want to ask your pharmacist until you can see your doctor. ...Read more
Fat-sac hernia in belly button; not intestine. Two days later hurts when moving, tender from doctor prodding? If strangulated, is it a constant pain?
Depends: Umbilical hernias are very common. Constant pain isn't typical of a reducible hernia, but can iccur when incarcerated, meaning it doesn't easily push back in. An incarcerated hernia can become strangulated if the blood suppy to the herniated tissue is occluded. If just fat still not generally an emergency, but it is if intestine. If intestine typically other symptoms to:fever, nausea, emesis ...Read more
My intestines have been very sensitive lately (growling more and making uncomfortable movements), it doesn't feel like cramps. What can it be?
There are a number of issues that can cause growling — most of minor concern. That said, you must see your Primary doctor as soon as you can. The doctor will take you medical history, examine you, and order labs and possible xrays.

My chiro took xrays, one shows black round spot in area of intestines. Can this be a tumor? I do periodocally experience blood in bowel movements.
Seeing Black: Black on an x-ray is air which just so happens to fill your intestines. Therefore, seeing black is entirely normal. A plain x-ray of the abdomen is of no benefit for colon cancer screening. Blood in bowel movements is often secondary to hemorrhoids, but not always. I advise you to see a primary care doctor. If you are over 50 and have never had a colonoscopy, the time is now! ...Read more

I have very slow moving bowel and I have to take something to get movement so I can go. The stool is very long and soft when I do go, about once a week. Why can't I go more frequently?
Hard to say: Constipation (going <3 x week or with difficulty) has many causes, with diet and other medications you take playing a significant role in why you go so seldom. Discussing your medications with your doctor may help eliminate some of their side effects, boosting your fiber content and a thorough medical evaluation for things like low thyroid may shed some light as well. ...Read more
I find sperm coming out slowly like urine (not typical ejection) without any orgasmic feeling, when moving my bowel (#2). Not painful. Is that normal?
Probably not serious: Discharge from the penis during defecation is fairly common. Straining at stool or stool passing over the prostate and seminial vesicles (the sacs that store semen between ejaculations) can squeeze out semen or prostate fluids. Usually not serious, but if it is new or if the fluid is creamy (like pus), or if it continues, see a doctor to be sure no prostatitis or other infection. ...Read more
