Feeling nauseous & headaches everyday for the past couple wks. Drinks like vitamin water and gatorade help. Could it possibly be pregnancy?
If needed: Gatorade has a high sugar content when compared to hydration products designed for infants/toddlers. In a pinch, it can be mixed 1/2 to 1/2 with water to create an oral hydration solution for kids with diarrhea/vomiting. Drinking beer /ale: Will not stop you from becoming pregnant. However, if you are pregnant - alcohol use could harm the fetus.
Diet soda: My vote would be gatorade if done in moderation. There are studies that have shown that people who drink alot of soda are obese even if it is diet. The absolute right answer would be water. I usually tell my patients that if they eliminate liquid calories from their diet, that alone will help them drop significant pounds. Liquids pass through your stomach faster and do not keep you full.
No: That is completely ineffective if you wish to terminate a pregnancy, no matter how far along you are.
