No: This happens to women all the time. So long as you aren't drinking alcohol after you learned you were pregnant, you and the baby will be fine. Probably not: The best predictor is what happened before. You can always seek medical help if you experience withdrawal. Drinking that much is harmful, probably why you are thinking of quitting. Go ahead and quit.

Doubtful: Statistically, many women are 'in your same shoes' and have had some alcohol while not knowing they were pregnant yet. Small amounts such as 2 glasses a week and of wine, should carry no real risk. That being said, we do know that alcohol in general, if taken often and certainly in excess can harm the developing baby, especially in the 1st trimester. Congratulations, and best wishes.
