Alcohol with meds: Combining alcohol with Geodon (ziprasidone) can cause drowsiness and dizziness. Combining alcohol with lithium can lead to lithium toxicity due to dehydration. Symptoms of lithium toxicity include: nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, and tremors or muscle twitches. Alcohol & antibiotic: If you are on antibiotics for an infection, that means your body needs help. Alcohol is actually a toxin- although we are not used to thinking of it that way.
