Going to be starting Lexapro & noticed it says do not drink alcohol but i know 5 people on it that still drink alcohol with no bad side effects.

Took one 5mg Lexapro on Monday night and then decided not to take again. Is it safe to drink alcohol tonight approx 96 hours later? No other meds.

Probably: None of the medications you mention react especially badly to alcohol, although you may find that "moderation" is less that it would be if you did not have dysautonomia and were not taking these medications. Definitely check with your doctor(s) first, though, about what to look for. Also, start really, really low and see what your tolerance to alcohol is. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
