Hello, i've been weightlifting very heavy weights for 20 years. Will this heavy lifting (esp heavy bench presses) cause an aneurysm of some sort?

Hello,

i've been weightlifting very heavy weights for 20 years. Will this heavy lifting (esp heavy bench presses) cause an aneurysm of some sort?

Hard to know: Weightlifting is not good for you if you have an aneurysm; if so, you shouldn't do it. Other risk factors for aneurysms include drugs weightlifters have been known to take ( no disrespect!), smoking, high blood pressure, and family history. I have seen enlarged right ventricles in weightlifters possibly due to breath-holding during lifting, but am unaware of aneurysms caused solely from lifting. ...Read more

Does creatine supplementation cause the body to create less creatine after supplementation runs out? For weightlifting

Dietary hoopla: You cannot eat muscles to gain strength, eat brains to get smart, drink blood to cure anemia. Any possibility that weightlifting causes hairfall?I read that after weight lift testostrone converts in DHT which cause hairloss. Using minoxidil 10%

Doubt it: This is one of many "pop" notions about testosterone that circulates in gyms. Lifting ups testosterone only slightly. Your hair loss is primarily genetic; you can suppress it by suppressing your natural testosterone, but if you're a bodybuilder, you probably don't want to do that. Most people will be much more impressed with your lean muscle than with your taking measures to keep your hair. ...Read more
