Do the grapefruit diet make you constipated and is there a vitamin i can take to help with constipation while on the diet?
Can if you: Are not drinking enough fluids meaning at least 80-100 ounces caffeine free/alcohol free fluid daily. Also grapefruit has a chemical that interferes with many different meds affecting their potency. I'm taking Geritol vitamins , I heard you can get pregnant faster with them? Is it's true. But they makes me constipated a lot. Do I keep taking them
No & it's up to you: When I was growing up, Geritol brand of vitamins (http://www.geritol.com/geritol-complete) was advertised for older patients. I am not aware of any evidence that taking them will get you pregnant faster. Any iron supplement can make you constipated. I have taken zinc cold drops recently at the same time i started taking vitamin C 500mg 4 tabs daily 2 days ago. I am now constipated. Please help?
constipation: Increasing dietary fiber (fruits, veggies, or supplements) along with plenty of fluid may help (takes couple days, so hang in there); stool softener also beneficial; try to avoid laxatives or frequent enemas as body can become dependent on them.
