Will a vitamin deficiency cause the effect of dizziness when getting out of bed and some lightheaded feeling?
What can constant dizziness be from? I had an ekg, bp, and vitamin deficiency tests, all normal. It's a faint feeling and sometimes a sudden spinning.

Blurred vision is also a common symptom, but is not related to vit. D (researchers are still studying vit. D). Many eye problems can cause blurry vision, so a person should be seen by an ophthalmology eye doctor. One should not try to fix his own vision by just taking vitamins. I have low vitamin d and calcium deficiency low, can this cause dizzy spells and the urge to have a sweet drink?
No: Sx of low vit d includes soft bones (osteomalecia), bone and muscle aches/pains. Ppi's make it difficult for us to absorb B12 as gastric hydrochloric acid is needed to absorb B12 & minerals as well as digest protein. These drugs are dangerous to take for more than a few weeks! Why do you ask?: Nowadays, vitamin deficiency is only a rare cause of hair loss. If you make this assumption based on a charlatan's website, you'll end up buying something that won't work, and if you complain, you'll be told it was your fault. Biotin deficiency sufficient to cause hair loss is hard to get. Get with a competent physician if hair loss is a concern. Read more
Possibly but...: Tendon problems are usually caused by strains/sprains/repetitive use but certain nutrients are involved in tendon health. Probably not.: The term "growing pains" is very nonspecific and medically has little meaning. I assume you are referring to some sort of musculoskeletal or joint pain. Vitamin deficiencies are rare in the us, unless you have underlying disease, and specific ones are associated with specific syndromes, e.g.Niacin deficiency is the cause a syndrome called pellagra I know of no deficiency syndrome that causes pain. If you have no vitamin deficiency, but take vitamins as recommended will that cause you to overdose?
A few can: Several vitamin deficiencies can cause muscle aches but the most common reasons I see are vitamin D3 deficiency and magnesium deficiency (especially in the setting of ibuprofen). BCPs can also contribute to B12 deficiency. All these can be measured (magnesium is done via RBC mag level). A good nutritionist can help you with doses. Read more
