Can Vitamin D Deficiency Cause Heart Palpitations
I have been diagnosed with a Vitamin D Deficiency. My lab results came back at 25. When I tried to supplement 1000iu of D3 I started getting heart palpitations, joint pain and anxiety. How else can I address low vitamin d.?

It's not likely to be due to "low vitamin d".
Vitamin d is insufficient if below 30ng/ml
and deficient if below 20ng/ml. Even in these
situations it shouldn't be slowing your heart
rate. More likely it may be related to mineral

It's very rare in this time and age for Vitamin and Mineral deficiency to get to the point which could affect heart unless there is some underline diseases exists. If you are eating a healthy well balanced diet including fruit and vegetable you shouldn't be worried about vitamin def.

In the mean time, take a multivitamin tablet daily. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
