Can Vestibular Papillomatosis Cause Vaginal Dryness
I know self diagnosing over google is bad but im almost 100% certain that I've got this. Vestibular papillomatosis? What causes this? Is it curable?
Not how it works: You are asking for an essay on an app where we have 400 characters to respond. In my experience nine times out of ten my patients self diagnosis is wrong. In medicine you can bring the worry to your doctor but you always start with your specific symptoms. Best to ask us about your symptoms then to presume a diagnosis.

Vestibular papillomatosis. What causes it and what can I do to get rid of it? (i know it does not require treatment but I want it)
Try to restrain: This is simply an extreme version, what we call hypertrophy, of normal anatomic features. There is no medical treatment and I would not recommend surgical removal because it very well may be ineffective and could create problems and scarring that are worse than what you have.See 1 more doctor answer
Is vestibular papillomatosis contagious? They are itchy and burn a little. Can I get treatment for this and is it dangerous/ harmful?
Normal: Vestibular papilomatosis is a normal variant that often gets mistaken for hpv condyloma or genital warts. An experienced gynecologist can visually see the difference but often a biopsy is needed to prove it. If the diagnosis is confirmed then no treatment is needed since this is normal and not contagious.
No and Yes: No vaginal dryness is not a primary symptom of uterine prolapse as the descent of the uterus most be noted and documented by a M by exam. Yes, second and especially third degree prolapse often is associated as a secondary factor with vaginal dryness as the uterus is almost at the vaginal opening or outside it and air does get into the vagina during physical or strenuous activity.
Fear & many other: Issues. As complex Soul? Mind? Brain? Body creatures, mind/brain control is dominant over body behavior. Very much including autonomic nervous & endocrine controls of body responses starting far before birth & continuing throughout life. People/Docs typically focus most on body response issues; easier to categorize & mass market approaches. But issues complex & subconscious emotions largely dominant.

I am 37 and lately I've been having vaginal dryness that makes me feel sore. It's ok during sex, I'm not dry at all then. What are possible causes?
Not exactly: May be the dryness related to tissue relaxation which may make the wall prolapsed out a bit to show at introits
Not HPV: Human papillomavirus (HPV) does not cause vaginal dryness. It almost never causes any symptoms at all except warts; or in rare cases when the cervix is infected, there may be spotty bleeding or perhaps vaginal discharge. But even these are uncommon. Anyway, you and your doctor will need to look for other causes of vaginal dryness. Good luck!

There is a gland in the vaginal area where some people are known to get cyst in. I can recall the name of the gald or the cyst. Its responsible I guess for lubricating the vaginal area I think? But if a cyst is on it can it cause vaginal dryness?
