Not a Medical device: Yes, actual medical devices are regulated by the fda, but i doubt an inversion table is marketed to treat anything. Most manufacturers go out of their way to be sure to state the it is not intended to treat a medical condition. So you are left with reviews and comments by other users. If the device is truly unsafe and it injures someone, they will be sued for it. ...Read more

Epi-LASIK: I have done over 10000 lasik cases and over 1000 prk cases. A documented, peer-reviewed study was published in 2011 showing that the lasik flap never fully heals. The consequence of this is if any lasik patient ever gets hit in the eye just right (just wrong) and the flap comes loose, there is a very brief window to get it repositioned or you'll need a corneal transplant.
