Could a 14 year old girl get leg braces to help straighten her legs? Would it work?

Could a 14 year old girl get leg braces to help straighten her legs? Would it work?

Not likely: There are actually very few things that are even "brace correctable" despite what grandma tells you. And certainly none at that advanced age that would come up now that you didn't have under treatment before, for instance, problems because of cerebral palsy. My doctor told me to start wearing thigh high compression hose to treat leg swelling. They are very hot and pull at my leg hair any ways to fix this ?

Treat the cause: At 33 you should not have signifiant leg swelling unless you have serious medical problem. The most common one at your age would be obesity. Compression stockings treat the symptom, not the cause. ...Read more

Could running cause the pain in my injured shoulder to get worse?(while you run you have to swing ur arms to some extent). should I immobilize it?

It very much can: As many runners carry increased tone in the shoulders as part of their normal gait and depending on the underlying pathology contributing to your shoulder pain, like rotator cuff tendinopathy, this can manifest as shoulder pain. Instead of immobilizing your shoulder, first make sure you know why you have shoulder pain and that likely will require a doctors visit. ...Read more
