Are there any fortified beverages that have b12 and vitamin d but not vitamin a acetate because I have an enlarged liver and am vegan?
Supplementing w/ B12: And D3 is likely the best way to go. You will know your exact dose that way. Use sublingual, under the tongue, B12 so that you will absorb most of it. If you swallow B12 your gastric juices destroy most of it. See your doc or a nutritionist to get your D level checked so you will know how much to dose. Better yet, get a nutritional lab pane, e.g., Spectracell lab in Texas. Peace and health. ...Read more
Is it good to have a drink which contains soy protein, hi-maize, vitamin (a c B6 b12), thiamin b1, niacin b3, folate, (folic acid) sodium, potassium in pregnancy?
Which form: Which forms the vitamins are can matter. For example, B6 comes inactive and also active. The active form of B6 is pyridoxal-5-phosphate. Too much inactive B6 can actually block active B6 from the B6 receptor, creating symptoms of B6 deficiency. Folic acid is synthetic, and too much can be bad also. Methylfolate and folinic acid are what one should take during pregnancy. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My B12 is 250, ALT is 87. No meds for cholesterol taken. Could their be a link between the two results?
Not likely: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your B12 is in the normal range but ALT is slightly elevated and indicates liver injury. If you drink alcohol, stop entirely for 3-4 months before repeating the test. ...Read more

Did a blood test everything was normal except for B12 was 1400, I take two b-100 tablets a day, is that the reason why, it's high?
B12 deficiency and receiving injections for the past two years yet my levels have not come up past 190 would there be a reason for this?
Sounds odd: How was the deficiency proved? Were there changes in blood? The quoted level is already high and may mean that the injected B12 is not being used in metabolism. I can't help any further. ...Read more
My platelet distribution width is 16.4 is this dangerous and how can I help to correct it my vit B12 is also 671 is there a connection between the two?
Stop worrying: Platelet distribution width is of no concern at all if you are otherwise healthy. If this B12 is in picograms/ml then this is likely within the reference range; it's worrisome only if it's low and a high value in someone who's otherwise healthy isn't anything to worry about. Ranges are actually set so that several percent of normal folks fall outside. ...Read more
Is it posible for a patient to need B12 injections (deficiency) and also be allergic to the B12 injections?
After two surgeries I have to take B12 shots monthly but still have no energy. Amount of sleep and diet seem unrelated. Can my humira (adalimumab) be causing this?
Yes it can: Humira (adalimumab) can cause "lack of energy" feeling, but not very common. I assume that you had gastric surgeries? Also, thyroid dysfunction as well as depression can cause this feeling. So, onsult your doc.. ...Read more

Pernicious anemia: I do not know what caused the collapse/ cardiac arrest (faint or go to ER?) - which is serious so before taking another form would discuss with doctor and would take the first dose in the doctor's office where you can be monitored.
