Are there any fortified beverages that have b12 and vitamin d but not vitamin a acetate because i have an enlarged liver and am vegan?
Supplementing w/ B12: and D3 is likely the best way to go. You will know your exact dose that way. Use sublingual, under the tongue, B12 so that you will absorb most of it. If you swallow B12 your gastric juices destroy most of it. See your doc or a nutritionist to get your D level checked so you will know how much to dose. Better yet, get a nutritional lab pane, e.g., Spectracell lab in Texas. Peace and health. ...Read more
Is it good to have a drink which contains soy protein, hi-maize, vitamin (a c B6 b12), thiamin b1, niacin b3, folate, (folic acid) sodium, potassium in pregnancy ?

Methylfolate and folinic acid are what one should take during pregnancy. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Having said that, your B12 is in the normal range but ALT is slightly elevated and indicates liver injury. If you drink alcohol, stop entirely for 3-4 months before repeating the test. ...Read more

It is important to "load up" the patient with very frequent injections for the first month of treatment of true B12 deficiency. Pain under the right ribs can come from problems with the gall bladder or liver and occasionally from problems at the base of the right lung.
