No infection at all?: Sexually acquired nongonococcal urethrits (NGU) rarely occurs without discharge. What symptoms? How was it diagnosed? WBC in urethra or urine? Most likely: You had shot of Ceftriaxone or similar medication which is standard med for gonorrhea and the Doxycycline is for chlamydia . If you have discharge when you masturbate , it is most likely semen . If you have spontaneous discharge , i advise you to see your doc and the discharge will be tested for reinfection of resistance ...Read more

NGU Treatment: You should consider yourself contagious up to forty eight hours after finishing doxycycline. The only caveat being here is if they doctor failed to treat both ngu and gonorrhea. Good public health approach to urethritis is to always treat for both. ...Read more
