R knee pain: Yes. Numbness usually reflects nerve injury, May be meniscal injury, or stress fracture ( though that should hurt more w/walking), or sciatica which can refer to the knee. Have they tried aleve/ibuprofen if they can take NSAIDS? That and ice on the low back 10 minutes on 50 minute off 3-4 x a day may help.Go to ER if bowel or bladder issue/numbness) F/U w/ doc or orthopedist this week ...Read more

Hand numbness: Could be two separate issues. Hand numbness could be carpal tunnel syndrome and chest pain could be costochondritis (like arthritis). Spine problems or other problems at the junction of the chest and neck could theoretically cause both symptoms, but less likely. No. Stimulants can : Constrict blood vesselsraise blood pressure (usually by 5-6 mm hg) & ⬆ pulse (usually by 5-6 beats/minute), but they don't cause impingement of nerve roots with numbness, tingling & pain in the areas served by specific nerves. White matter diseas?: I'm not sure what a "sodium spot" is, but if you've ever had trouble with your electrolytes before (hyponatremia), then it could be sign of central pontine myelinolysis (CPM) - perhaps a limited type. CPM can cause paralysis & numbness. Usually it's more dramatic. If the MRI report suggests "white matter disease", it can be from a stroke & cause numbness. Nerves?: Are you wearing a ring on the finger next to it? It sounds like you may have injured the nerve on the finger next to it just from bumping into the ring every day. Try a few days with the ring off and see if it improves. If you're not wearing a ring, did you have any injuries to the finger? Hope it gets better for you! ...Read more
