Vitamin B12 And Heartburn
Can b 12 injections cause stomach or intestinal issues in rare cases like vitamin d injections? If so what kind of issues can it cause?
Not to my knowledge: This is extremely unlikely based on basic medical science. People are going to see whatever they want as cause-and-effect, but i'd urge you strongly to seek some other reason for whatever symptoms referable to the stomach and small bowel & not to be satisfied until it's found. Have you been checked for giardia / celiac sprue / whipple's / chronic pancreatitis -- all can get overlooked. ...Read more
Not typically: Vitamin d deficiency is associated with rickets in growing children and osteomalacia in adolescents and adults. Symptoms of rickets, if present, include pain and irritability, motor delay, poor growth, and increased susceptibility to infections. Maybe: Hi. If you get most of your vit. D from your diet (instead of from sun exposure), malabsorption can cause vit. D deficiency. So causes of malabsorption are associated with diarrhea, so there can be a connection. In general, I'd say chronic diarrhea needs a good work up by a gastroenterologist. Good luck! ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Can vitamin C cause abortion? Name the vitamin C without bioflavinoids to cause abortion and its dosage for 19yrs girl
Possibly if early: First, you say you don't know if you're pregnant. If you are late for your period take a home pregnancy test to find out. There are reports that 500 mg of Ascorbic Acid without bioflavinoids every hour (including waking a couple times at nite) is often effective if done within 4 weeks of conception. No research proves (or disproves) this. See http://www.Sisterzeus.Com/hsp1shlp.Htm for details. ...Read more
