Can The Flu Cause Night Sweats
Night sweats may be a sign of an overactive thyroid, vitamin d deficiency, or a more serious problem like hodgkin's disease. The most common cause is probably just a heavy mattress and a warm room. The result is the same: waking up overheated and sweaty. Some people have a problem with sweating not just at night. ...Read more

Fever unknown origin: Drenching night sweats usually mean fever. These are nonspecific symptoms, i.e. many possible causes -- too many to even guess without more information. Since you've had blood tests, presumably you're under a doctor's care; s/he is in the best position to answer this and other questions. Other symptoms? Did blood work include inflammatory markers (ESR, CRP, maybe procalcitonin)? Chest xray? ...Read more

Next year you should get a flu shot of you didn't this year. ...Read more
