On tetracycline, acne clear up initially now it flare up again! help! i cannot do accutane. is there other ways?i dont think tetracycline works for me
Other then accutane is there any other strong acne treatment I'm on tetracycline for about 6 months now but when I take a break it just comes back?
Spironolactone: For adult females the best therapy is usually an anti androgen. If it is effective it can be continued for years. It is not an antibiotic. Do not use if pregnant or kidney failure. Accutane caused me to have rosacea and i'm a 20 year old male. What is this thing doing to my body? Why do doctors prescribe this for mild acne?

It is fda approved but has siginificant potential side effect and should only be used in stubborn to clear acne or widespread pustular acne which does not respond to more traditional topical and oral medications.
