Angioedema: this can be critical. some antihypertensive medications can be associated it and some NSAIDs cause it too, I suggest you see an allergist for some blood work and if currently swollen, seek medical attention immediately. If so, possibly compressed structures in bones of hand/wrist and sometimes wrist inflammation turns inward not outward and that is something to seek care for, as entrapment of neurovascular elements within the wrist can be a real problem.
