Unclear: Lupus pts can get pericarditis - sharp chest pain which is worse with deep breath but improved by leaning forward/worse lying on your back. Alternatively, lupus pts also get myalgia (muscle pain) and arthralgia (joint pain, including of the rib cage) which can be worse with deep breath but wouldn't change much with different position.
