Neuropathy may be caused from multiple reasons, and a neurologist who has some experience and understanding needs to be sought. Sometimes, vitamins help, sometimes IVIG may be answer. How well?: I don't see that hair loss is a major side effect of Neurontin, (gabapentin) but to be technical the best way to know for sure is to stop it and see if the hair loss stops.
