Taking birth control consecutivly every month without stopping for a period. Sexually active, now want a period. Period late. Help?

May be ok: After being on the ocp for months the lining of the uterus will be thin (not a lot of blood). When you stop the pill it may take a while (a month or so) for the lining to build up.

Can the stopping of using a supplement make my period late or skip? I took the breast enhancement supplement bustmaxx for 2 months & stopped. Help?

Can the stopping of using a supplement make my period late or skip? I took the breast enhancement supplement bustmaxx for 2 months & stopped. Help?

Maybe. . .: Depending on just what was present in that so-called "supplement, " there are plenty of these breast-enhancing potions that contain plant hormones (phytoestrogens) or prohormones that do not come under fda scrutiny or regulation, so you get what you take, and most of these "special formulas' contain god knows what! Stop the pills, now. Btw, your breasts didn't change, did they? See plastic surgeon!

Can drinking lots of green tea stop or make your period late?

Can drinking lots of green tea stop or make your period late?

No. No studies: At this time support use of green tea to delay menses. A 2010 study showed japanese females who drank > 5 cups green tea/day had 1st menstruation at younger age but those that drank >10 cups of green tea/day had later menarche. A 2002 study suggested that green tea could bring on a period quicker in rats. In traditional chinese medicine drinking green tea is not recommended during menses.

Late period 4 days as calendar says usually very accurate took 2 test both negative. What can it be? Should I stop thinking about it stress taking over

Late period 4 days as calendar says usually very accurate took 2 test both negative. What can it be? Should I stop thinking about it stress taking over

Late Period: Periods can be late for a number of reasons. Stress, infection, hormonal imbalance, thyroid disease and of course pregnancy. Sometimes it just occurs for no apparent reason. I would have you check another test in a week, either a home test or a blood test in a doctors office. If you then have a period next month things have straightened out, if not, time to see the doctor.

Normal cycles: If you are stopping the pill your normal cycle should reestablish itself in about a month, but sometimes it can take longer. If you are prone to get pms it will return with your normal cycles.

Period 4 days late, 2 negative HPT, no stress in life, not taking ANY medicine, healthy diet and exercise. Why is period late?

Period 4 days late, 2 negative HPT, no stress in life, not taking ANY medicine, healthy diet and exercise. Why is period late?

Late period: Hi. HPTs may not reflect pregnancy within 4 days of a missed period if you are pregnant. If not pregnant, there can be myriad reasons for variations in periods. Wait another 5-7 days and repeat the HPT to make sure. If pregnancy is not desired (and at your age I sincerely hope it is NOT!), might I suggest you talk with our good friends at Planned Parenthood about contraception. Good luck!

Unclear: It is unclear exactly what happened here. I would schedule a visit with the fertility specialist you are working with and ask for clarification on the plan of care.

Late period in Nov. Missed Dec now second week of jan. Got brown and light pink spotting then stop hour later started heavy bleeding is this my period?

Late period in Nov. Missed Dec now second week of jan. Got brown and light pink spotting then stop hour later started heavy bleeding is this my period?

Maybe: Your menstrual cycle is for sure, irregular. You need a pregnancy test. If the test is negative, it may mean that this is a 'real' period meaning you ovulated, did not get pregnant and your are now having a withdrawal bleed OR this may be that you are having yet another unscheduled, irregular bleed due to anovulation. You need to see an ob-gyn. If the test is positive, see the doctor immediately.
