What type of ear plugs are best for sleeping?

What type of ear plugs are best for sleeping?

Personalize: So long as you don't have issues with otitis externa (outer ear infections) any type should be fine. Try the foam ones but, make sure to check them daily to make sure they're intact; you don't want one to break up in your ear canal because you've used it for too long. If those aren't your bag, go for the wax ones. If that fails, see an ENT for customized ear plugs. ...Read more

Sleep with ear plugs every night, change them 1x monthly. inner ear itchy hurt and peeling by end of month. what should I be doing? go to my dermatologist ?

Ear plugs: are associated with a buildup of WAX (Cerumen) in the ear canal... You should have your ears examined since this does not usually result in itchiness.(more likely due to a "dandruff - like condition of the ears/scalp (seborrhea)

If : If there is no pain or unusual drainage you probably don't have an ear infection. It's possible you pushed some of the wax further in and created an impaction. I would try to soften the wax (if still in there) with a couple day useage of something like debrox or ceruminex (otc), pick up a baby bulb syringe, and self irrigate your ears in a ear down position with luke warm water. Hopefully this will clear your ears. I not, somebody should lok in your ears to determine the cause. ...Read more

Have a cold for month. tooth broke off the other day when eating bread . now today mouth feels numb when brushing teeth . ears nose plug and eyes hurt?

Separate problems: Your tooth breaking and your cold are two separate problems, but they both require treatment. I suspect that you have a sinus infection that may need antibiotics to treat. You also need to get to your dentist ASAP to determine if your broken tooth is abscessed and what needs to be done to fix it. Please don't wait as both problems will get worse if you do. ...Read more
