Nasal products: If you have poorly controlled high bp, you are right to avoid decongestants containing Ephedrine or pseudoephedrine. You can safely use anti-histamines (eg loratidine). You can also use nasal steroids or nasal saline rinse. If your BP is well-controlled, short term use of the full range of decongestants is probably fine. ...Read more

Sinusitis vs cold: Go with over-the-counter sinus/cold remedy medicine. Avoid things with Aspirin or Ibuprofen since they may aggravate your ulcer. If you are sick for more than 6-7 days, see a doctor to check for sinusitis. ...Read more

The bot water raises your temperature and your body adjusts by relaxing the blood vessels near your skin to increase heat loss.
