Nasal spray: If you have been using a nasal spray like Afrin then you could be experiencing "rebound" swelling of the nasal passages. This is very difficult to deal with but you MUST stop using those nose sprays for it to get better. Talk to your doctor about using a steroid nasal spray to help you get through the withdrawal from the other. ...Read more

Unlikely: To be considered a temperature is needs to be over 100.5, if you have had a fever for more than a month, you need to be seen by a physician, and reevaluated if you have already seen one. Pansinusitis, especially if treated, should not cause a fever for this long. You need a thorough work up for other possible causes of your fever. Coughing from it for that long is possible, but not a fever. ...Read more

I've been suffering from nasal drip for a couple weeks. I'm taking Claritin daily & using a nasal rinse, but it seems to be getting worse, not better.
Get checked: Nasal drip can be from a number of potential causes (infection, allergy, nasal irritants, vasomotor stimulation, sinus structural problem or infection, etc). If there has been recent trauma, this needs to be an urgent evaluation to rule out csf leak (very rare, but serious) Effective treatment depends on identifying cause, but I am confident a solution is available. Hope this helps. ...Read more
