Can sinus infection cause a strange smell in the nose?

Go see an ENT to have your nose examined and get treatment. ...Read more

MayHaveToTakeALook: Absolutely weird things aside (like something wrong with the nerve for smell, or some kind of foreign body stuck up there, like tissue, cotton, or an alien implant)--then maybe there's what I call "shmutz" up there left over from the infection (the sinuses are notorious for not draining properly). You'd need a Smutzogram. Having phantom smells or sensitivity to smells with numbness/tingling on head. I think I have a mild sinus infection and have been stressed out a lot?
