If I slept in the bed of a person who has scabies, am I going to get scabies? How can I prevent this from happening?
You may: Clean (ie. Hot water in machine) clothes, bedding & towels you've come in contact w). There may be things like pillows that can’t go in the wash. Place them in a big plastic bag & tie it up. Possible.: Scabies is highly contagious, but spreading requires skin-to-skin contact. If you have had no direct contact with the infested person(s), it is possible to avoid infestation.
