Wait: I'd recommend that you try some antihistamine eye drops (Zaditor ™) Claritin ™ or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) ™, & cool compresses first before seeing evaluation at a quick care center. Also, if, after a few days, your symptoms are substantially better, then this may just be what you thought along, ie., allergies. The fluid sac will lessen. Too dry in room?: Is there alot of heat in your toom that is drying the air out. If so, you want to get a humidifier. If you do not itch during the day, it is probably not allergies. Severely Itchy eyes for over a week that get bloodshot and swollen due to rubbing. Symptom subsides with anti-histamine eyedrops and pill, but effects wear off in 6-8 hours. No secretions. Am also recovering from a cold and cough.
