What could be the cause if laxatives or probiotics don't work for bowel movements, if there is no over use? ---> h pylori, acid reflux, rabeprazole?

I think I've got IBS. Been taking probiotics a cpl of days. Pain gone BUT I seem to have acid reflux now. Is this common? What can I do to offset it?
Consider first: Making sure nothing more concerning is going on and that you have the correct diagnosis. This requires you seeing your doctor in person first. Having nausea&bloating on/off for months. No other symptoms. Diet is good. Others docs say acid reflux & told me take probiotic. Sometimes doesn't help?
Find symptoms' cause: Nausea may be gi-related (food poisoning, peptic disease, gastroparesis, due to biliary & pancreatic disease, gas/bloat syndrome, small bowel problems). I have minor acid reflux. I took a 50 billion probiotic for a month. I stopped taking it now my stomach is a nightmare. Pain gas little burps etc.
I take probiotics and zantac (ranitidine).Why do I have problems with acid reflux, swallowing capsules and trying to burp. Also my flatulance smell esp bad lately.

You have acid reflex not relieved by over the counter zantac, (ranitidine) which is not so uncommon. You can try Omeprazole a stronger acid suppresser available over the counter

Yes...: Drinking too much of any liquid is a risk of causing reflux. Caffeine, often present in tea is an additional risk factor for reflux.
