Black Mold: The term "toxic mold" is not accurate. While certain molds are toxigenic, meaning they can produce toxins (specifically mycotoxins), the molds themselves are not toxic, or poisonous. Drinking bottled (or at least boiled) wateris a good idea, but note that mold spores usually enter the body thru breathing. Though eating moldy bread doesn’t usually cause any problems, there are reported cases where ingestion has caused allergic reactions, vomiting, diarrhea and rarely something more serious. Don't worry be happy: I wish people would get over this black mold mania. The tv hype was just that- hype! enjoy your pregnancy and either wash your water bottle with dishwasher solution, rinse with vinegar then water and dry well, run through a dishwasher, or get a new water bottle. ...Read more
