My boyfriend used to do drugs like meth and cocaine what effects would that have on his fertility?He's been clean for 4yrs but still smokes cigarettes
Should be ok: Drugs like meth and Cocaine can cause issues with infertility, most most commonly when using. Severe chronic abuse can cause damage, but at his age he should be fine now that he stopped. Smoking should not be an issue, but he should eventually work on that too and stop. High H&H, high MCV, low MCHC, low RDW, neutropenia, & lymphocytosis all values recurring for a few years. B12 therapy for macrocytosis ineffective. No drugs/alcohol. Do smoke cigarettes. Any ideas?
I smoked heavily for 6 years. I had a diffuse alveolar hemorrhage in June. I cut down from 3 ppd to 1/2 ppd. However, I just started rehab for IV drugs after almost dying from sepsis. Rehab says not to stop smoking now; but what about my lung issue?

Yes!: I assume your child is born and not still in utero, but all the ailments adults suffer from tobacco use can be conveyed to your child. Lung damage, cancer, heart disease, and potentially cognitive delay and and he/she has a head start on all of this. If you smoked while pregnant the list gets longer.
