Wow. Complex. TTYD.: You're rather young to be on 2 medications for your heart rate. I suspect you have a predisposition of some sort. Maybe Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome? That needs to be worked out before any advice is given. Use HealthTap Prime or talk to your doctor for advice. Most OTC cough/cold sprays & meds have phenylephrine which can cause your heart to race. Tachycardia: For Age 19, normal heart rate is 60 -100 beats/min. Exercise and anxiety can cause Tachycardia. Tachycardia starting a week ago at age 19 is likely due to sudden stress, such as fright with feeling of being overwhelmed or Anxiety. You're right: B12 will not cause you to lose weight. Unfortunately, that is a common scam in some places, particularly here in south florida. In fact, there are efforts to curb that with laws in florida. There is no evidence that B12 actually leads to weight loss. The rapid heart rate may just be a reaction to the injection.
