Yes: Many women feel small pains around ovulation, before-during-or after - its called mittleschmerz. There are abnormal causes of pain around ovulation but most often it's normal. I just found out that I have a dermoid ovarian cyst about 6cm by 5cm could this cause back and belly pain?

Yes: I would think the answer is yes but what did your doctor have to say? Is removal recommended?

Yes it can: A cyst in this location may produce peritoneal irritation or be the focus of a localized inflammation.Associated it can produce fever, discomfort or severe pain if ruptured. Mass effect also can be present if the cyst is large. It needs a visit to a gynecologist.

Ovarian cyst: Pain from the very insist would normally be filled in front and to one side or the other. However it is possible to have pain in the back from the cyst. Ovarian cysts again not the usual cause of miscarriages however, you can get a hemorrhagic corpus luteum cyst which lowers the Progesterone level which leads to miscarriage. Not a typical cause of miscarriageā€¦ But I have seen situations where Progesterone levels are very low in the presence of such assist. Check Progesterone levels and supplement if needed

Abdominal pain: ReneeT210~ a 2-3cm ovarian cyst are usually coincidental on US and usually causes no problem. Endometriosis, CAN cause that pain and if you are exeriencing pain you should go and see your OB GYN thanks

More than one issue: Simple ovarian cysts should not cause backache. Low ferritin represents iron deficiency and you may have low blood count. High ESR is usually associated with inflammation, infectious or non-infectious. You have enough symptoms to warrant a consultation with a physician.
