What types of orthotics or foot care would work best for my fiancée's foot structure? She is having foot pain.

Do custom orthotics help chronic foot pain? I got a new set two days ago. I'm being careful to not wear them too long but they hurt.
There is a: "break in period" which you should of been instructed about. Generally speaking, I inform patients to wear them an hour the first day and double the time each successive day. There may be uncomfortablility but there should not be pain...If painful, consult with your dispensing physician.....See 3 more doctor answers
I have been having foot pain for a couple days now. I used to wear orthotic shoe inserts. I have knee problem. This is on my left foot. It's pulsating.
Need new orthotics!: If you used to wear them and now they are either too small or they are worn, your body is telling you something. For the pain, rub your foot in the arch area to warm it up. Also, a nice cold bottle that you can roll your foot on will help decrease the pain and pulsating.
Can chronic foot pain from plantar ficisitis cause me to feel tired all the time? I went to a foot dr who recommended custom orthodics
Yes it can.: Plantar fasciitis is inflammation of the structure that connects the heel to the ball of the foot. If this is a chronic condition, your foot is inflamed and can feel tired. Custom orthotics are a means to hold the foot in the correct position and decrease the irritation that causes the inflammation - thus, if prescribed properly, can reduce the fasciitis and reduce the pain and fatigue.See 4 more doctor answers
Choices have consequ: For a whiny teen in their counter dependency stage the role of a parent is to provide access to remedies for the child's afflictions. If the child refuses to pursue the remedy & thereby make a bad choice, I would not accept any more wining. You might point out to the teen that for you to trust them driving/attending special school events/etc. You need to see evidence they can make good choices.See 3 more doctor answers
Plantar fascists what can you do for the pain in foot and leg / calf. Will custom custom orthotics make it go away?
ESWT/Orthotics/Shoes: So depending on how long you have suffered from the plantar fasciitis stretching exercises can be helpful. If it is a chronic problem look into extracorporeal shock wave therapy. That combined with new shoe gear and custom orthotics have achieved the best results in my experience.See 5 more doctor answers
