I may have oral herpes. I thought it'd let the primary outbreak occur without medication too see how I it alone. Is it stupid? whats worst can happen?

You see it depends on the virus you have,he has,and the immunity you have developed overall. But even with immunity you can get either, just less probably.Next, you can get it without lesions because the virus can be hanging out there for several days before an outbreak. That's the basics. ...Read more

My boyfriend has oral herpes, if he has an outbreak (cold sores) can I still have anal sex with him unprotected?

Skin to skin: Herpes is transmitted by skin to skin contact. If he has an outbreak on his mouth then he can transmit herpes to any area his mouth touches. A herpes outbreak on the mouth would not be transmitted via genital to anus contact. Unprotected anal intercourse is a high risk sexual act and condoms should be used. ...Read more
