Can Nerve Pain Cause Nausea
Can produce pain on one side of the body (including the head). The clinical course may help with sorting out what is going on. Is this jolts of pain, progressive episodes of pain and are there any other symptoms besides nausea?
Does change in body position relative to gravity affect the pain? You need to have this worked up.
The brain and spinal cord communicates with what is occurring in the internal organs and limbs by nerve fibers where are like electrical wires with insulation (myelin) and the "copper" (axon). Within brain and spinal cord these nerves connect to other nerves via synapses on both axons and dendrites. A nerve can carry information regarding sensations, and ...Read more

Hi! I have extreme pain in my upper left side of my abdomen, as well as nausea, severe left back nerve pain, jitteriness. Freq. Urination. 18, female.
Having nausea last 2 weeks I have nerve pain all over my body. Random headaches. And feel like there's pressure inside my head. Is it a brain tumor?
Possible not likely: Brain tumors are particularly uncommon in patients your age. Headache is a common symptom in brain tumor patients but is also seen in many other conditons, more often than with tumors. 'nerve pain' all over your body doesn't sound like a brain tumor symptom. See your doctor for a referral to a neurologist and likely for a head MRI scan to reassure your about this. ...Read more

Indirectly, yes: Nerve pain can come from many causes. Some might also cause physiological mood/anxiety disturbances. Without knowing the details of your pain - it's not surprising to hear of those problems too. If your energy and resources are being depleted coping with pain -irritability, worry and unhappiness are all quite likely - it makes sense. I'd avoid medicating them. Resolve the pain and see if they go. ...Read more
Usually not: Herpes causes pain where the rash breaks out, because that is where the nerve endings containing the viruses are. The doctors check for cancer, too. ...Read more

What are the possible causes of widespread neural tension (nerves do not glide properly causing nerve pain/symptoms)?
Not entirely sure what you mean. Where are the nerves not gliding normally? In your spine, or in the soft tissues due to tension in the muscles?
Some people have lower threshold for nerves to start transmitting pain (fibromyalgia symptoms can stem from that) and maybe there is a start to help you with treatment. Neurontin (gabapentin) medication might help you, or a muscle relaxer other than flexeril. Goodluck. ...Read more
Dothiepin has benefit in management of neuralgia. Can withdrawal of dothiepin cause nerve pain as a withdrawal symptom?
Yes: If this tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) is working for the treatment of your neuralgia, then if you stop taking the medication, it's likely the neuralgia pain will reemerge. Discontinuation after chronic TCA use can lead to Parkinson-like symptoms and balance problems. See your physician before making any medication changes. Http://www. Medscape.
