Can Ms Cause Tinnitus
I had tinnitus all day in one of my ears, plus pain. Dr. Said drum intac but found dried blood, referred me to audiologist. Do I have ms?
Complicated: Really don't know cause, but there are genetic susceptibility markers, and environmental events to trigger disease. Of interest is fact that there are 3.5 women to every male, and this is thought possibly secondary to hormonal issues. Also, the immunology is fundamentally different in men vrs women. Hope this helps, but we are making progress. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Cannot say whether you do or do not have ms or any other problem, as I have no information to guide me. Suggest you make appointment in a medical school clinic, present your problem list and get full evaluation. You will get answers. ...Read more

There is a relationship to prior ebstein barr virus infections, decreased vit d levels, and possible uv-b contact. Untreated ms can result in profound disability and may shorten lifespan. ...Read more
Plenty: Optic neuritis (decreased visual acuity, pain on eye movements, decreased color intensity), double vision (lesions in brain stem), nystagmus, abnormal tracking, even par planitis and uveitis. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. If you are experiencing visual problems, start with your eye doc and go from there. ...Read more
Silly question but can I use the product Dermawand if I have MS? Could it cause a relapse? It seems to use some sort of current but unsure.
I can't: vouch for the efficacy of Dermawand, which uses radiofrequency energy and claims to tighten facial features/reduce wrinkles, but it won't affect your MS. ...Read more
