Can Lyme Disease Cause Interstitial Cystitis
Have candida/lyme/interstitial cystitis; could dr. Rx'd diet of protein/gr. Vegs./probiotics have caused my hi blood uric acid and interstitial cysti?
Unlikely.: But might be contributing. Most common cause of high uric acid is genetics. A high uric acid level without symptoms is often of no significant consequences. The level may be affected a bit by diet. The candida / lyme / ic thing sounds fishy and very unlikely. Perhaps you have a more general underlying disorder. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Pbs is also called interstitial cystitis (ic). It is a chronic condition of the bladder that causes pain in the pelvis and low abdomen. How can I go about treating so many issues at once: lyme, candida, interstitial cystitis, high blood uric acid and urine protein, hypothyroidism, etc.
Holistic approach: Unraveling multiple issues is complex & a bit like a game of pick up sticks- you need to be careful about the order. Lyme & candida may be the cause of ic, but it may be necessary to detox heavy metals to treat those. Antibiotics for lyme can aggravate candida. It's best to start with basic support- balance hormones, detox, correct nutrient deficiencies.I advise working with a skilled holistic doc. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

However, over the next few days, the redness may expand forming a rash in a bull's-eye pattern, with a red outer ring surrounding a clear area. ...Read more

Dog ticks are larger and are associated with different tick-borne diseases. Good to take precaution ...Read more

Unknown: At this point in time there is a lot of discussion about this topic and many who feel there may be some association but there has been no known proof of an association of Lyme disease and an elevated CA 125. Lyme disease: There is much speculation, primarily in the lay press about "adrenal exhaustion" due to lyme disease. This seems to be purely theoretical and not based on any firm scientific evidence. The problem is that there is much we do not understand about lyme disease, and it has been the speculative cause of many unexplained illnesses. Stick to "proven" facts, and adrenal insufficiency is not. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
