Not necessarily.: Headaches are generally not a component of lupus unless they are secondary to high blood pressure. A normal MRI makes brain involvement in lupus less likely but does not completely rule it out. I would normally recommend a high resolution ct of the chest to look for interstitial lung disease and an echocardiogram to look for pulmonary artery hypertension.
