I have lupus. Why do you think prednisone always helps my lightheadedness &brain fog? No exact cause of these symptoms has been found .

Not necessarily.: Headaches are generally not a component of lupus unless they are secondary to high blood pressure. A normal MRI makes brain involvement in lupus less likely but does not completely rule it out. Vasculitis?: Vasculitis in the brain is a serious condition. Sle is a possible cause, but there are other causes. Mri is useful for structural defects but may not be useful in conditions like this. See your rheumatolog: There are several sle related possibilities and numerous other causes for your sob. I would normally recommend a high resolution ct of the chest to look for interstitial lung disease and an echocardiogram to look for pulmonary artery hypertension.
