I have rheumatoid arthritis and discoid lupus. For many years I have experienced sudden urging itches on different spots of my body.
I'm photosensitive got lupus. My face now is swollen, red, itchy. And my body have a rash that seems like allergy. Taking med now but still itches.

Yes: Low iron has been reported to be a cause of itchy skin and even hair loss. If you have had a period for 4 months, it is a highly likely problem.
