Can Lupus Cause Balance Problems And Dizziness
I have recurring flares of rashes, joint pain, muscle aches, debilitating fatigue, dizziness. I have photosensitity and one episode of my WBC at 2.0 years back. My ANA is 6:40. I'm on plaquenil. Why are all my other antibodies neg for lupus?
Maybe SLE maybe not.: Diagnosis of rheumatologic disease is generally based on symptoms with support from lab. Sounds like you have a rheumatologic disease and are being treated with a rheumatologic agent perhaps by a rheumatologist. They can explain your particular situation better, but suffice it to say tests are not always right and a single test does not generally make or break a diagnosis.See 2 more doctor answers
When our movements are not well coordinated, we are clumsy. We may drop things, run into doors, or have trouble getting projects done that require coordination of our movements. Some people are just clumsier than others. However, if someone is not usually clumsy and now starts having trouble with hand movements, walking or other movements, a visit to the ...Read more
Vertigo: The symptoms you describe suggest a diagnosis of an inner ear problem called labarynthitis. Causes are multiple, some benign and some serious. If symptoms are persistant, serious problems are more likely. See your family doctor to discuss this matter further and to determine if further evaluation is required.See 3 more doctor answers
Fatigue all day and balance problems (dizzy) can both be cause by little sleep and depression? And still worth an ENT checkup? Thank you xx
I would: Get these symptoms evaluated. They could be affected by sleep deprivation but make sure and follow up with a doctor
Can being vitamin d deficient cause dizziness and balance problems? I recently had a blood test and my gp told me I was deficient (score was 15) and put me on high dose supplements for a month.
Not usually: But why not replenish this vital vitamin, as it is critical in numerous immunological and hormonal bodily functions, and deficiencies have been associated with numerous problems. Give it at least 3 months, and recheck levels at that point.

Suffering from daily dizziness and balance problems for a year already. I am 18 and blood work is all normal. What could this be?

I experience brief dizziness and balance problems and occasionally some very brief sensations in my chest (non painful) that go away quickly. They are typically 2-3inches below my nipple or to the left, near my side. Rarely in the center of my chest?
Not certain: It is difficult to explain your symptoms without further evaluation. This could be cardiac, arrhythmia or neurological in origin. I favor arrhythmia from your description. You need a physical examination and some simple lab testing to define the problem. Establish with a health care professional and get checked out.
Can you help determine my symptoms? Dizziness, tremors on left side, head pain, balance problems and general body pains. Been to the doctors, no help
See a neurologist: The dizziness, imbalance, focal tremors, associated with aches and pains suggest many potential illnesses, and this needs to be diagnosed. Am perplexed why you conclude that your doctors have been of "no help", as our job is to diagnose and ease misery, not to ignore problems. In pts with many problems such as yours, might wonder about lyme disease, inflammatory issues, vasculitis, etc.
I just had an MRI: Right peritrigonal chronic leukomalacia with some gliosis and compensatory dilatation of right trigone. What does this mean and could it be causing dizziness and balance problems?
Abnormal MRI: Possibly--you should be seeking a Neurologist or Neurosurgeon's opinion.See 2 more doctor answers
