Lupus, fibro, gastroparesis, non alcholic fatty liver, diverticulosus/itis don't normally drink but I drank alot the other night and really sick since?

Need exam, blood test: I would suggest you have an exam, and perhaps a blood test of the liver enzymes to see if the liver is inflamed. Sometimes lupus can affect the pancreas as well, and this plus alcohol together would mean the pancreas blood test should be checked too. A good examination is important, and if you are having fever, dark urine, chalk colored stools or severe abdominal pain make sure you are seen soon. ...Read more

Whoa: Plenty of perfectly healthy, not just lupus-free, people have positive ANA especially at low titer, and lowish C3 and C4 (which are poor lupus screens anyway). Nothing says "lupus" to me, but I am very concerned about your fatty liver and weight gain. By far the best treatment for "nonalcoholic steatohepatitis" is to find some fitness activity you like and do a lot of it. Good luck. ...Read more

My ALT level is 66 range is less than 46. I've a fatty liver. I drink once a week and that one day is little heavy. Will this cause any chronic problem?

Listen buddy: Drinking that is "a little heavy" is like being "a little bit pregnant". I think you realize that it's time to stop, before you become addicted and you lose the ability to stop. This is a common pattern that usually ends in trouble. Especially if you have anxiety and depression, alcohol will make this worse. It's not worth it. Find something meaningful -- spirituality? Fitness? -- in its place. ...Read more
