Not the best way: If you're deficient in vitamin d, drinking milk is not the best way to replenish this. In the us, most milk is fortified with about 100 iu of vitamin d3/cup. This is not the active form, either. Given that the usual recommended daily dose of vitamin d is 1000 iu, you would have to drink 10 cups if getting your "d" solely from milk. Maybe: Vit d deficiency has been linked to your symptoms, but deficiency is known to have no obvious symptoms. Best way to find out is to take robust doses of vit d & get sufficient sun exposure. You're in a northern latitude, you need longer exposure to sun (uvb rays) & more exposed skin. If doing this doesn't relieve symptoms but levels normalize, something else is wrong.
