Can Kidney Stones Cause A Pain In The Tip Of Your Penis
I have a small kidney stone stuck in my penis, 2'' from coming out, it has been about 4 years is there any serious damage I could have caused?
Very unusual. ..: See a urologist for more evaluation and treatment
The kidneys are paired organs that lie on either side of the vertebral column. Part of their critical functions include the excretion of urine and removal of nitrogenous wastes products from the blood. They regulate acid-base, electrolyte, fluid balance and blood pressure. Through hormonal signals, the kidneys control the ...Read more
Is poignant feeling in the penis shaft near the tip caused by kidney stone that move to the bladder? How long does it take to come out?
Yes: It is probably still in the ureter near the entrance to the bladder. This is the trigone and the nerves that make you feel like you have to urinate are triggered when a stone is trying to pass into the bladder.
I have concretion (sand like particles) not kidney stone, can it cause pain in the back, side, hip, urinary blader and penis area? How long it heals up
Yes: "stones" in the kidney are not usually the large "staghorn" type people think of. You usually have to use a strainer or tea bag to filter your urine in order to capture the "stones." therefore, you certainly may have kidney stones. Until they pass, the pain may be there. There are other things which may cause pain in addition to stones, so make sure that is what you have.
Uti/ kidney stones: Kidney stones can definitely cause UTI's and life threatening kidney infections. They can also cause, when fragments are excreted, urethritis or inflammation of the urethral mucosa that may cause symptoms as described. Abdominal pain, persistence of symptoms, fever, nausea/ vomiting among others, would be alarm signs for a possible evolving infection.
Stone moving: If given an rx to enlarge ureters/urethra--be sure you are taking it. Use your pain med, hydrate well to encourage passage. If made it to bladder, should pass on own (and will only appear as grain of sand, despite amount of pain it caused on way out). May have some urinary bleeding, ok as long as stops after few hrs. If severe pain / vomiting / can't pee -- go to er.
Pain: It is not unusual in the presence of kidney stones to have pain radiating to groin, testicles and genitalia.
I have had a number of kidney stone. Now this on I have pain in the middle of the half of my penis. How do I get stone to pass?
Fluids and pain meds: You need to drink plenty of fluids and take medication for the pain. If you don't have any reason not to take it, I would suggest taking Tylenol (acetaminophen) as directed on the bottle and if needed Aleve as directed on the bottle. If you are still having pain tomorrow, then you need to go to your emergency room for an evaluation or sooner if you are not able to urinate.
Unclear: You may be passing the stones or stone fragments through the penis. Alternatively you could have a urinary tract infection. Does it hurt when you urinate? If you have a urinary tract infection and "blocking" stones, this could be an emergency. Best to consult your urologist. If you get a fever >100.4 f, go directly to emergency room.
Moderate: Basically anything that can get down the ureter into the bladder, can easily pass through the penis tubes (urethra). If your stones are in the kidney, they may be in the pelvis of the kidney and can be quite large. A piece of this could break off and cause the famous, painfull kidney stone passage through the ureters. You should be evaluated by a urologist for kidney stones before this happens.See 1 more doctor answer
If you: Are having pain after stone removal the best person to consult is your urologist. Pain persisting for several days may indicate a persistent stone or infection. Best to consult your doctor sooner than later.
Not unusual: Unusual sensations (pain, tingling, numbness) in head of penis, often accompanied by a feeling of urinary urgency or burning, are quite common as a stone is passing through the lower part of the urinary tract from the opening of the ureter into the bladder and out through the urethra related to irritation and inflammation. These sensations usually resolve within 24-48 hrs after stone passage.
M south indian.5.8mm kidney stone on pathway from bladder to penis. Will medication help to push it out?
Had stent removed 4 days ago after kidney stone. Everything is great except a mild pinching sensation periodically in my penis. Is this normal?
Here are some...: What you've felt with stent in place is normal and lucky because of being bearable. In fact, some patients just can not tolerate stent-related symptoms. Besides, a properly selected length of stent to suit the ureter help ease stent-related symptoms. So, your urologist might have done good job for you. Best...

Yes: Passing a stone can be associated with itchy irritation and some bleeding.
