You may have a kidney stone or other complicating factor preventing cure. Repeat Urinalysis with microscopic exam and urine culture 2 days after finishing Macrobid. Then consider CT scan of abdomen & pelvis. Your doctor can help.

However, I would think that the kidney infection would need to be rather significant accompanied by fever, chills, body aches.
